Meeting in-person: If you're meeting someone in person, we recommend arranging your meeting in a public, well-lit area. Let others know where you're heading. If you choose to meet at someones home, consider bringing another person with you or sharing your meeting plan with family or friends.

Payment methods: Don't transfer money directly into a seller's bank account. Instead, offer to use a secure person-to-person payment site, such as PayPal. If you choose to pay electronically using wire transfer or money order solutions, avoid payment links and log in directly through the payment method's website. Keep in mind that cashier and certified checks can be counterfeit. Transactions are between the buyer and seller only, and no third-party guarantee should be involved.

Your Privacy: Don't share your financial information or unnecessary personal information with buyers or sellers. Don't respond to messages or emails that ask you to provide account information, such as your password. We will never ask you for your password. If you're selling electronics, make sure you've cleared any personal information from the device.

Item verification: For high-value items, you can request a certificate of authenticity. Or a proof of purchase. Don't buy or sell recalled items. It's illegal to sell counterfeit items in most countries, and counterfeits aren't allowed on Auctify. We recommend that you review any items you buy.
