How we got here

2000

The company is founded in the Netherlands, building e-commerce software for businesses selling online.

2015

We narrow to a single field — online auction software — and set the rule we have never broken since: zero commission on our customers’ sales. Easy.Auction is our first auction platform.

2020

AuctionsNearMe.com becomes part of the company. It is now the world’s largest live auction discovery platform, with more than 2,500 auction houses indexed.

2021

We acquire Auctify.com and begin building a new generation of auction site builder, shaped by everything the previous years had taught us.

Today

Auctify runs auctions in 20 languages for businesses on every continent. Still zero commission.

Why auctions

Because an auction is the most honest way to find out what something is really worth — and the most exciting. The highest bidder wins because they see the most value in it, which is about as democratic as commerce gets. The seller gets a real price instead of a guess. Our job is to take the friction out of running one, so that anybody can.

Auctify was not designed in a vacuum. Almost every feature in it traces back to something an auctioneer actually asked us for. More than 116,000 support conversations — feature requests, edge cases, “can it do this?” — went into deciding what this software should be. When Auctify already handles the awkward thing you need, it is usually because we have been asked a few hundred times before.

Why we take 0%

Most auction platforms take a percentage of everything you sell. We decided in 2015 that we never would. A commission charges you most exactly when you do best — and the software costs us the same to run whether you sell one lot or a thousand. You pay a flat monthly fee. That is the entire fee.
